Tillamon Khuprus is the daughter of Jani Khuprus, a Rain Wild trader. Her pebbled skin and wattled jaw growth have kept her from securing a marriage. Bitter over her appearance, she has taken to wearing a veil even in her home, Trehaug. When her brother Reyn and his wife Malta decide to relocate to Kelsingra, she not only decides to do the same, but asks permission from the other Elderlings to extend the invitation to all humans who otherwise feel like outcasts in their own cities (heavily "touched" by the Raid Wilds, Tatooed, etc). While traveling up river on the liveship Tarman, she and the ship's first mate, Hennesey, start a relationship.
